and I quote
Mystery UK forces mobilisation today 2/2/12?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone here has any idea what's going on today?
Several chaps I know, all members of the signals have been called at home around 2pm this afternoon and told to report immediately for duty. I have just been on the phone to the wife of one who is pregnant and in pieces worrying. She received a message about a hour ago simply saying -"I now know where I'm going. I can't say, they are about to take mobiles away. I don't know when I'll be back, I love you".
This all just seems strange. The last chap has served in Afghanistan twice, Iraq and west Africa but he has never been unable to tell his wife where he is going or when he'll be home.
I know it's a long shot but has anyone heard any rumours?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

I'm interested to find out, unfortunatly all I know is what's on the news, it could be anything really, the Falklands (P. William is on duty over there now) Cairo uprising or even the Russia and Syria stuff.
I just hope everyone who goes out there comes back safetly.
I'll speak to a few of my mates that are in the forces but I doubt they'll know much. They're usually last to find out

I do hope its not more confilct, there is more than enough war at the moment. Hope the lads return safe and sound whatever they are doing. Things may get very ugly if its Iran especially wwith there nukes and I worry that they have no fear in those parts of the world and they would push a button in the name of their gods without question, well thats how its comes across here, but how much of the media do you realy believe?
