Removing nuts with heat

Is there any readily available kit for this sort of thing?
I'm assuming I wont be able to get hold of anything acetylene based, but will the propane jobbies do the trick?
something like this perhaps?

Propane/butane torches are ok.
They take a while to get the parts up to temp but have helped remove some stubborn bolts from a few of my cars.

ive seen a few folk use chef type butane torches as theyre smaller with a more focused flame so easier to use safely
afterwards you can go and flambe some crepes or put the finishing touches to your creme brulee

i have oxy acetaline and its amazing stuff but oxy and propane is just as good for heating things red hot for removing those stubborn nuts bolts and bushes, cant weld with it though but its much cheaper

if it aint broke don't fix it https://www.facebook.com/pages/tram-roa ... 8502699270

Oxy welding is class, such neat tidy welds, like tig.tramroadmotors wrote:i have oxy acetaline and its amazing stuff but oxy and propane is just as good for heating things red hot for removing those stubborn nuts bolts and bushes, cant weld with it though but its much cheaper
Seen a new tool that's come out, it's a rectangle box with a few different ends, the ends then coil the nuts heating them red hot, so no risk of over heating other parts and much safer, is there a nut your stuck on??

I'm anticipating having trouble with exhaust bolts, from what I saw last time I was under the car. I assume water is fine as a fire extinguisher.

why not just cut them off with a grinder and replace? still got your danger but much easier and you KNOW you will achieve success.
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

The best thing you could do is take the whole system off, and as the above post just angle grind the bad ones off, saves a bunch of time, cursing and swearing lol, plus no risk at all of a fire. If you had a leak in a fuel line, goodbye prelude and yourself. Better to be safe.

Because I don't own a grinder, and I don't have power in the garage.
