i think the car will snap in half due to rust before the belt goes, to be fair the motor has only done around 85000

A low mileage H22 would be worth protecting from cambelt snap, because it would still be worth something when the rest of the car died?

its where its rusting thats the problem, windscreen pillar
its not that bad, but it can only get worse, it would require the windscreen removing to get to it. as for the sills, i do have a pair in the shed, made them last year but never got around to fitting them (welder mate moved away, why couldnt he wait another week
) it was also rear ended a couple of years ago and although it hasnt effected the car (unless you look real close) - it will, you just cant see it yet.

I see get what you mean, just a shame seeing them die
Im loving mine right now even with its faults which I am still chasing, seeing rust on the arches is killing me, money is always the issue. I can do the work myself no sweat, but buying the materials is not to much to ask from a wage packet is it?
Anyway, hope you find a good use for the lude whatever you choose to do with it, hell if I could I would have a few
