Winter Wheel colour choices

Post by mart609 » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:57 am

I've picked up some sawblades that I'm going to get powdercoated for some winter wheels
thinking on options of colours that would suit well though

I was thinking white. As I know that colour suits my car colour well. But think that maybe a bad option as winter wheels as they're going to get filthy

So was thinking some shade of grey/silver/gunmetal.

thoughts?

Having driven my car for a few years as a daily with my white OZ wheels I would advise not personally bud. The sawblades will be easier to clean than mine were I guess?

I'd stick with a darker colour as Shiny says you can't really go wrong with Gunmetal.

Satin black.
Phantom grey suits any colour wheel.

You think phantom grey can pull off black wheels? I'm not sure :/

Think I need a photoshop!

it can pull of darker wheels as long as there is some colour between ie a pinstripe on the lip of the wheel

How about a nice dark red to match your colour coded engine parts perhaps :?:

I've seen red wheels on black cars before and thought they looked quite nice.

If not then I'd go with gunmetal grey :?

Has that Civ got 4WS, or did they not correct the RWS for the excessive lowering? Must make it interesting to drive!

I like the idea of Muddy Waters Brown!
