showa mugen suspension with in car adjustment

One of the local Honda bods has bought a bright yellow lude and is breaking it for parts.
Ive got fist dibs on the suspension but was wondering what the going rate for the showa mugen set up with the in car adjusters. Its still to be tested but i dont know what to offer the guy. Any one any idea?
Hes also got the mugen front and sides, gathers sound system and the lsd box.
I will point him in direction of this forum.

Sorry I couldn't give you a price on the Mugen shocks. I've seen a set go before for I think £250, but that was without the in car adjusters.

Fingers crossed they work for you

dont forget that suspension will be quite old now and covered a lot of miles it is rare and a fun toy to have but may not last you very long condition and mileage will have to be taken into consideration unless someone like rob wants it for the mooooooogen lude

there seems to be a lot of the fronts around lately does he have the lense covers? they are the rare part

the suspension doesnt look to be that old - all stickers in place etc - apparently it was a show car for unique automotive - the guy said i had first shout on suspension but im pretty sure he will put it up on ebay to get max bids.
no lense covers im afraid mugen sides and front bumper need some work-i can ask for a price for the sides for you nafe
it also has mugen mani and downpipe but mani looks like its been rewelded - i seems to remember that mugen mani is just copy of oem one....think hes going to sell that along with the engine as a civic conversion kit.

Cheers bud. Can you find out what work needs to be done to the sides as well? And whether they have all the clips and brackets? Pics are always good

EDIT: Oh and the Mugen manifold and downpipe most certainly isn't just an OEM copy!

It's one of the best manifolds out there for the H22

Nice. Not seen this lude for a while. It was black originally, then as you say Unique Automotove bought it and sprayed it yellow for a show car. Only car I've ever seen with the in car adjustable extra, so got to be kinda rare.

I'd be interested how much the guy would want for the in car adjusters, cabling and strut motors - try and retrofit them to me D2's.

Ask him for me, but if he asks what price did we suggest...50p?

No it's hard to price as people say - it is old at the end of the day - who knows how long it will last.

Who will join the ranks with the bumper then? Still don't know anyone with the lenses in the UK.

As Nath says, it's damn fine! He could get alot more selling that separately - I know a few are after one on here. Plus for a Civic conversion won't they have to hack it up? That would be a damn waste. The welding is most likely repaired dented secondaries which have hit speed bumps and the like - quite common.

yeah i got confused thinking mugen mani was copy of oem - i was of course thinking of ebay specials-doh!
ive dropped him a text aksing if he will sell the suspension (ive got first dibs) and sideskirts (for Nathan).
good point on the mani being hacked about if going intoi civic - will see what he says and let ya know
