Just wondering how much a rubbish air filter can affect the cars performance?

Quiet a bit, also the location of the filter plays a big part too.

Yogurt?

New filter element can help the car and it's cheap from Fleabay.

Could be binding brakes, valve clearances, loads of stuff really.

Do you have an induction kit fitted? Or just the standard airbox?

Looking at the service book, the last one was March 2010

hi lucy , does that mean that the car hasnt had a oil change for 2 years nearly since the 2010 service?
