I've wondered about compatibility too, surely we're not restricted to just Prelude specific suspension, and i would have thought if anything is going to be compatible its logical that some components can be shared with an Accord of some variety.
I've used EP3 stuff on my DC5 and I have DC2 stuff on my EG but I've searched and i cant find an answer to this? I'm struggling to find something in good used condition, i would buy new but i have a certain budget i want to try to keep within for this project...

I tried ATR front shocks on my 5th gen. Same dimensions, but prelude springs seem to be much lower. Rode like s**t, would not reccomend

Please don't read this as sarcastic, this is literally my theory
...
I'm pretty sure if any other shocks were compatible with a 4th or 5th gen Prelude then it would be fairly common knowledge by now.
I sold a set of 3rd gen lude coilovers to Becca on here as between us we worked out that with a small amount of modification to the rear shock towers they would fit her 3rd gen (1989) Accord Aerodeck. I was familiar with both cars at the time. So I'm sure others in the past would have been in the same situation with a 4th/5th gen Prelude and a CL9 Accord
Also, if anything, it would be a CH chassis Accord
