another abs fault / mystery please help

i am kind of guessing abs faults are common on preludes

a quick history of my lude its been off the road since 2006 i have had it since 2015 its now ready for a mot so i thought quick road test shine up the brake discs check it drives ok no funny noises etc , start her up abs light on then goes off drive it down road abs light comes on pull over turn ignition off back on abs light goes out soon as i drive it light back on , i have done the paper clip bridge trick and no flashing code light but i clearly have a abs fault , i am assuming as it only comes on after driving it points to a sensor / pulse ring problem

Make sure there is proper connection between pins and your paper clip while you doing the test. How is SRS, 4WS, EML lights acting while test?

i tried the test quite a few times thinking it wasnt making a good connection or i was messing it up , but nothing is happening no lights are coming on ?????

Sounds like a dirty ring, same on mine when otnhad cv grease all over the cv joint/abs rings

If the fault light comes on, it has logged a fault, so you will be able to get the codes out.
Rather than using a paperclip, use a proper bit of wire and make sure you are bridging the correct connector - you want the blue 2 pin, not the grey 3 pin.

it was deffo the blue plug i was using will try again tomorrow and see what happens

right armed with my bridging wire i went for a drive then soon as light came on i pulled over to check code , i had one flash on the light finally a code but its the pump motor over run fault , which seems i need a bleeder t-wrench for this job so my next question where do i get one of them from is it a honda only part

i am assuming due to the shortage of replies the code 1 fault is rare , hoping to have some time over weekend to look into this fault so will report back

Code 1 ABS fault is rare, but when it has happened, most people normally just give up on, without investigating further.

Something is telling me that @c_doughty1 is someone that has worked their way through this fault...

i really need to sort this out as its all thats stopping me from getting it moted and on the road now
