like bad boys , are they worth it and has anyone got any experiance whether it be first or second hand

I fail to see how these things will do owt on a lude tbh...
A strut brace makes sense because it braces one thing against another independant thing. It will definitely add stiffness.
These just tie one thing back to the exact same place it was already tied to anyway, but by bolted connections (which can move) instead of solid pressing/welds (which can't).
But I have no personal experience, so what do I know...
You will of course earn 'boner' points in the pits at the track though, when you whip off your pants and show off your stiff member...

Through the medium of a tiny bit of triangulation (viewed from above), they should add a tiny bit off extra stiffness from the inner wing to below the A pillar. I very much doubt it's enough to make a noticeable difference in normal use, or even on the odd track day. Upper and lower braces set properly as a pair would be more effective, I reckon.

I have also wondered this, I suppose they might take a very minute amount of flex out of the chassis but I wouldn't buy them myself, I'd make my own as they are such a simple thing and wouldn't cost anywhere near as much to make

Good thing about them is they connect the strengthend part were the door hinges mount and support it to the front.
Looking closely to the original construction I personally think it does help. In combination with upper and lower brace.
Welding them is a better idea and I am planning to do this when I fit my wide body.

trouserbraces work for some people..
My mistake was not to triangulate the rollcage to the front strut towers.
I should have done this when the engine was out.
Then again, i think it will help.. how much is debatable...
