Battery Relocation

Post by prahunt » Tue Oct 13, 2015 10:58 am

I'm looking to move my battery to the boot over winter.
This will free up the space in my engine bay in prep for the new air intake and probably kick me into the wire tuck and so on.

However what do people suggest in regards to kits? I don't want to have a battery rolling about in my boot. Is there a 'do it in one kit' available? Or will I need to get a few bits from different places?

Most of us that have done it have boughts bit from here and there. If you're using a regular battery it's recommended that you use a sealed battery box.

I have used a odyssey pc680 battery and the password jdm battery holder. Both decent bits of kit and as its a gel battery it can be mounted anywhere without a sealed box. Mines currently still in the engine bay albeit in a slightly different location.
