I have done some searching and am getting mixed answers so thought I would ask here.
As the title states a base engine into an sh body with sh transmission.
I have a 5th gen prelude I'm breaking and I have a buyer for the engine but their car is a sh.
He blew his engine because when he did his oil change the guy forgot to put oil in...dummy
So now the question. His car is manual and my breaking lude is auto. Can my base engine mount to his sh manual transmission and if yes is there a list of things he needs to swap over?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

No cannot be done. Engine blocks are different. You can convert an atts block to fit standard transmissions but cannot rettifit a standard block to fit an atts unit and its transmission.

Agreed on that one!
Why couldn't they do an A9?

i know stupid engineers what do they know!
Same engine codes h22a4
but both totally different blocks.......probably were smoking something at the time they named it and once it was in production and too late they were like ahhhhh let the tech's have a hard time figuring out why a h22a4 won't fit in a sh with an h22a4...
