Right what can you do about cats sitting on your car and scratching it ?
When parking at the misses parents house wee scratches always appear. Happened to the lude and my bmw and her dads car and her car!!!
The neighbours cat keep sitting on it!
Her dads cars brand new in black and its scratched that badly when sliding off it obviously digging its claws in to stop itself!!
On the verge of getting my air rifle out and posting a paw through the neighbours door!!!!!

Get 2 large dogs and a bay window for them to stand at whilst barking, all the local cats have learned not to walk through my front garden anymore

Nothing you can do. Let them be. Cats are the best. Mine are always on my car. Luckily I have a car cover.

clingfilm lay on the roof with treacle spread on it. Cat jumps up, gets treacle clingfilm stuck to paws, panics and never jumps up again?
