So, heading off to Le Mans in June, and we're going to total up around 16 hours driving round trip.

Going to need some driving music!!

Recommendations?!

The soundtrack to the 1981 movie heavy metal. a few of the tracks are awful, but the rest are pure driving music!

Good question! :)

Long drive specific, I'd go for a selection like...
Albums:

1. Led Zeppelin II
2. Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
3. Lalo Schiffrin - Soundtrack from "Bullitt"
4. Feeder - The Singles
5. Calvin Harris - 18 months
6. Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
7. Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
8. Prodigy - Fat of the land
9. Jean Michel Jarre - China Concerts

Andyjess's suggestions also good - Maybe Perfect Strangers (OK, that's not old DP) or Back in Black?

I can't go with classical music in the car 'cos the quiet bits are too quiet and you spend half the time fecking with the volume!
