oil leak :(

ok il have another look tomorrow. I dont think it can be anything major, hopefully the oils too thin :L dont know how il cope if more gaskets need changing, running outa money!

Il give the engine a good clean on my day off too, might make it a bit easier to find the leak lol. I might paint the rocker cover too

possibly gloss white to match the car? then il sand down the Honda badge to bare metal

Can't be much worse than the car

about 5 miles after i cleaned it the back ends all dirty again!

I only really wana do it for Santa Pod lol, il leave the bonnet open most of the day (show off my painting skills

) give it a chance to cool down after overheating waiting to get in as well :L

I did one of my valve covers white and never really had a problem with it getting dirty...

You just have to watch your own grubby mits

I'd bypass the temp switch with some cable, and have a manual fan toggle inside the car. Would let you flick the fans on when the car is sitting - overheating is a bad bad thing imo

Aye, good call indigo!

Or at least bring along a short section of wire with the right spade terminals, so you can open the bonnet and bridge the connector when you get into traffic (and then remove afterwards).

I remember doing that on one of my CXs once, for about a year until I got to the bottom of what was causing the problem (not obvious).
