Or use it as a selling point/peace of mind for the new owner.

Dear new owner,

I let the oil get well below the minimum and it's pretty grotty looking.
I didn't bother to spend the 25 notes on changing it though because "won't be my car, won't be my problem".

Happy trails!
Good one :P

How many miles have you done since the oil was last changed/topped up?

Also is this for sale yet?

About 5000miles since last oil/filter change in Nov 2014, Martin

Not officially on sale yet - as i still want to clean out the throttle body when I return home after Easter.

Though i have put up a FOR SALE ad inside car window over Easter.

Had 3 offers - but nothing near my minimum yet

More likely to stick on eBay once i clean out the throttle body ...but will let everyone on here know before i do ;)

It's not far off an oil change then. I wouldn't get too worried about that much use on a car that old. That'll be about 1.5l between services. It's higher than ideal, but it's nothing to crap yourself about.

@mercutio - what am I holding for you? I have the bike lift/ramp and associated jacks, a black 4G rear number plate surround and some 4G clocks. Can't remember which parts were for @Drax!

@wayne2014 - just checked and my dad will be home, so will PM you my address.
