removed the intake manifold from the engine now, almost there PHEW! engine will be all cleaned up very soon now.

I will be putting the skunk2 on now so i set to work on this
well i got it for free of a mate

it has a snapped stud:

so i drilled and tapped a new hole, i wasnt easy to get the angle for the stud but i managed it, i cleaned it up with a wire brush, sandpaper then wiped it down and masked it up:

Did anyone order a brand new skunk2 intake manifold?? well i must have:

gave the throttle body the same treatment, its 4mm bigger than the standard h22a throttle body, it came with the Skunk2 when i got it

Dipped in the usual solution, i fooking love this stuff!:

and painted up:

gave he fuel rail a clean too, im unsure whether i will paint it, because i like the contrast:

cleaned up:

gave the injectors a shinning up aswell lol, an example first:

And here is all 4 done with seals:

Started prodding at the drivers side rear quarter yesterday thinking I got away with just surface rust, well I was wrong!! Dirty big hole, so I spent 10 hours, cutting welding, painting.

Filled and primed, I'm going to spray over with black and it can stay this way until the body lads get at it.

One another note!!

I've a bunch of cleaning to do now lol.
