Well, even after bypassing the car is not starting properly. At least I've noticed the consistency. It starts bad when it's getting cold (I'm doing night shifts). (before replacement of ignition switch and bypass of fuel cut off switch bad starts happened randomly without any consistency) Same symptoms: I have to press accelerator several times in order to hold the revs for the first 5-10 seconds. Feels like the injectors are still blocked, despite the fact that fuel cut off switch is bypassed.

I'm sooooooo tired of this neverending story of problems. Approximately £400 wasted on parts and labour and still no result.

Fuel filter was changed 6 months ago. When I was replacing the fuel pump I noticed that tank is really clean. I don't think it has something to do with this.bristol_bb4 wrote:May be worth changing your fuel filter and having your injectors cleaned?
The only idea I've got is to check immobiliser somehow? What do you think?

Little edit.Ailfenergy wrote:After replacing ignition switch guys from garage told me that they saw fuel cut off switch playing up for no reason. It blocks the injectors. Today it was bypassed till I get the new one. They told me bypassing is the temporary solution of the problem, so the car should start alright but they would recommend to get the new one anyway.

There is no consistency again.

I mean, are they discoloured (and what colour), covered in deposits, electrodes worn away, what?
Cheers,
Iain.
