Today I decided to have a go at some running malarky.
Lisa has been getting into running for about a year now and has achieved some really amazing stuff in that time, I've been going along supporting her at races and I thought it was about time I had a go myself. So today I went with her to do our local park run.
Last time I ran any distance was about 25 years ago and I haven't actually done any hard physical exercise for a good few years (used to swim for fitness*) so might as well start nice and easy with a 5k, eh?

Pretty impressed with that tbh, didn't stop or walk at all, straight round and under 30 mins.
I have absolutely no idea of pace though, so did rely on Lisa to make sure I didn't go too fast too early (men
)
*in fairness to me though, I do a LOT of walking at work though
