By the way, my lad's just bought a £400, 1.7 Puma as a winter hack and stripped out 120kg. It might even go quite well now.

120kg is alot what's left?? my impreza is pretty stripped with lightweight everything and I've only dropped 97kg
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

The 120kg was a guess, as it felt about half as much again as the 80kg (weighed) that he took out of his 306 some time ago.
No, there isn't a lot left and although it feels more sprightly, it wouldn't suit me.

And yes, it still looks like a Puma ...



Still, if 400 quid gets him through the winter, who's knocking it?

The ALU wheel nuts are fine, some copper grease on the threads and do not over torque, no issues then.
