It's a bit of pipe slid over the ends once the old rusty flanges were removed. Two single-fixing band clamps do the rest.

Looks a bit mote than just a bit of pipe, looks 'made for the job', with a shoulder mid way along for the 2 exhaust ends to butt up against? It's not rocket science I know! Just saying it looks very neat.

Rain stopped work today so its claybar the new truck at home.

I'v never done a full detail on such a big vehicle. Should be fun. :?

I love claying car paintwork, time-consuming but definitely therapeutic. Must be the similarity to sliding your hands over some well oiled curves... :D

I painted some of the awful walnut trim on my 6th gen Accord today:

It's not the best finish in the world, but it was alright for an ancient rattle can of trim paint I guess. Much better than the fake walnut at least!!
