well finished work at 4pm then spent the next 6 hours standing around in the cold at a film shoot watching a shitty saxo driving past my car and a subaru

was for an advert about drugged driving my car was supposed to be a boy racer car and they went to town pimping it up with lights looked like a fast and furious film set

My car and the subaru didnt move all night they were parked up in a layby while the shitty saxo drove past at 10 mph and back at the same speed.
Then when they called it a wrap at this location and i had just finished de-pimping my car the cops roll up saying they had a report of racing
The over zealous cop went over both cars with a fine tooth comb there wasnt anything wrong with mine but the Subaru was not only on false plates because it had been borrowed from coronation street  but the plates were the wrong size and the font was way too small.
The Cop told the subaru driver he should take note of the Honda because their owners know how to modify cars

@donald: IMHO its never a good idea for a deer to stand in a quiet spot in the woods and make noise. We are plenty enough worth the cull for food to anything that could come say hello and I for one feel better not digesting inside the tummy of a predator better suited to interstellar communication than we. Listening is fine and what we should restrict ourselves to for a while. An analogy to nemo and his ill advised jaunt off the reef is very fitting here.

@merc: nice one brah 8-) did they lay on tea and hobnobs? How'd you get involved with that?

i work with a guy who's missus is a producer and they were looking for a car that was "kitted up". Yeah i wasnt at all happy they were trying to stick half of halfords on to mine and the subaru.

I kept saying "whoa hang on thats supposed to be inside a car on a parcel shelf " and "really !!! no self respecting street racer would do that".
The director came up and said i want the young girl sat on the bonnet of the sexy car   i guessed that was mine  so i went and had words with the talent
