That was when it had just been built, they had to rush the build a bit to get it to that show and it won "Phattest car of the show"

It was seeing this in max power that made me look at ludes never seen or heard of them before . Bought my first one off eBay without driving or knowing anything about them. Best car I've owned till now. Good luck with your transformation mate.

If you space the wheels out you may need to raise it a few mm but I do remember I was looking for steel wheels for my old 5th and I came across dodge nitro steel wheels cheep but they had crazy offset
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

Thanks W1ggz

I'll take a look at those wheels Craig thanks. I think I'll go down the alloy wheel route again though, im not too keen on this steel wheel fad to be honest.

Done a few small jobs recently.

1)Fixed my intermittent wiper/ICU problem

So now my intermittent wipers and wash/wipe function works aswell as the "lights on" and "key in" warning sounds etc.

2)Stripped out the rear of the car

I had an audio build where the rear seats were, this is all gone now, you wouldn't believe how much weight was in there with 19mm mdf boarding and fibreglass etc not to mention the subs themselves!

A few pics half way through

And a pic of it after. Going to remove the framework the 4ws ecu is attached to at a later date but still using the boot as storage at the moment.

3)Couple of switch blanks changed

Clearing up some of the remains of the hydro setup.

4)Altered the rear numberplate

Before the plate was angled toward the car so it looked a bit strange so I added an adjustable bracket to straighten it up. Also I swapped the bolts which hold the numberplate on and also house bulbs for the numberplate light for some led versions.

Lol I do like them too! My mate had a carbon fibre one from Halfords years ago but it split due to doing stupid speeds, you wouldn't actually believe me if I said it really helped the handling, however it took off 10mph at top end!

This one is a C-west wing. I'm sure Rich of PAW did some back to back testing some years ago running a big wing then doing the same circuit without a wing. iirc he was quicker round the corners with the wing but as you say, whatever he gained he lost on the straights and the lap times were pretty much the same.

I got round to sorting my speedo needle issue today, it wasn't lighting up. I stripped it down with all good intensions of replacing the dodgy capacitors but when I stripped it down the capacitors looked fine. So rather than go to the hassle of speccing up some new caps and going to get them etc I ended up doing the ghetto fix

Whilst I was at it I thought it was a golden opportunity to use Doms write up and change the colour of the dials. I experimented with quite a few colours but because of the green tint that's already on them, blue seemed to be the only colour that worked well.

I can't really make my mind up if I like it or not but today is a sunny day so I'll wait to see what they look like on a normal day.
