Well - I failed.

The security key was straightened a bit, but I couldn't do anything about the rounds edges of the pins. Infuriatingly, the thing grips well enough not to ride out when tightening ... just what I don't need!

The Halfords 'female easi-outs' are too large for the nut boss.

Your eyes must be failing already

@Sailor I believe the part number you'd need is 08W42-S1A-601C but apparently there are a ton of different patterns so it's not too helpful...

Time you went into a home I think.

1. Surely using your imagination you can translate the shape of the key posted by Sailor and see that it's not going to marry with the locking nuts you posted.
2. Furthermore you still questioned it after I posted exactly the type of nut Sailor is struggling with, again nothing like the ones you posted.
3. And finally, you could have Googled the part number on the ones you posted and it would have given you this: http://honda-shop.ru/image/cache/data/0 ... 00x500.jpg

Perhaps not your eyes then, must be your mind

Going off your age and apparent eyesight deficit, I doubt you could even see the smallest bone let alone handle it with those sausage fingers of yours.
