Your so right, my bb4 had a dc2 gearknob and a little 300mm steering wheel on it the first time I drove it and it just felt like a go kart compared to my standard bb2 over here..

Woah, there is definitely an airbag light - SRS - red light opposite side to the 4WS light. That's going to be on constantly if you swap the wheel.laner84 wrote:thankyou sir, right off to choose a new boss adapter and steering wheel thenDrax wrote:don't think there is an airbag light, and it will not affect the 4ws at alllaner84 wrote:yeah i wanna upgrade the steering wheel next my bb4 had a little and so did my 300zx so this feels huge haha dont knkw how to stop it throwing up the airbag light and also it will affect the 4ws too wont it?

I seem to remember some people managing to trick it with a resistor, but I can't remember the size you need.laner84 wrote:Ok matey ill do some research im sure there is a way of doing it as a friend of my sorted for me on my old almera gtiindigolemon wrote:

Yes to this, did it on my old civic ej9, think it was something like a 1.5 ohm resister, don't quote me on that as it was a long time agoindigolemon wrote:I seem to remember some people managing to trick it with a resistor, but I can't remember the size you need.laner84 wrote:Ok matey ill do some research im sure there is a way of doing it as a friend of my sorted for me on my old almera gtiindigolemon wrote:

EDIT:
May need to clear codes afterwards as well, I did but then that civic was obd2a... Obd1 ECU might not store a remnant code..
