Yeah the meisters and bc racing coilovers have adjustaable dampening, couldn't say if the teins do..

No the Tein Basics do not have adjustable dampening, but if you are after coilovers that give a comfortable ride adjustable dampening is something that wont make too much of a difference as you will have it set to soft anyway. The Tein Basics on my 5th gen are comfortable.

Yes they were, after Phil spotted this at the national meet I sold them on as damaged goods. Just for the record. I felt guilty at the meet after Phil pointing out one was completely fooked. I was under the impression they could be repaired at the time but have learned they can not. Fook coilovers, unless you have a large wallet stick to stock shock and lowering springs. Thats my plan anyway, although when the coilovers worked properly they gave a good ride.
