Seriously Scary brakes - Please help.

Gents,

this sounds like to me that you have a failed seal within the master cylinder.

brake master cylinders generally have double seals...if the main fails it will bypass the fluid back into the master cylinder, whereas a brake master cylinder generally has only 1 seal; when this fails the brake MC will leak into the cabin.

I would be willing to bet that it's the master cylinder seals...If you speak to Big Redd Racing (Google it) they'll be able to supply you with a seal kit for about £20.

the other thing i would check is to make sure the vacuum line to the booster hasn't been put on the wrong way round as there's a 1-way valve in there to stop engine vacuum dicking with the brake pressure.
