Once you cut through all this commercialism crap Christmas is one friggin day. A lot of people are lonely, argue with the family, spend to much on stuff they have had to buy and is probably wrong anyway. Get in your car and get out into the country and enjoy the scenery. I have been their and done that it clears your head of all outside pressures. If you have six foot of snow my suggestion will be a non starter.

I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

Wow . nice to see its not plastered all over facebook. Your young and enthusiastic ( did i spell sarcastic right then) and if you have no ties like kids or sick elderly parents just £uck off and enjoy yourself for a while. Come back if it suits you when it suits you and just enjoy life. Its great so enjoy it.

Nice idea about simonc, he's very accommodating and would have had invited me to his in 'lay during my trip between NZ and thai' , he's in Yorkshire for Christmas and hooking up with Wayne, so don't be shy. BTW , if you need a private conversation, you're quite welcome to PM me, and glad it's not all over f/b, a 32 yr. old mate of mine took his own life end of July.. amongst other things 'cos his private life was plastered all over it.

Learn something. There is almost nothing you cannot read about nowadays and it will add a new element to your conversations. Our time is far too valuable to waste and there is nothing more satisfying than gaining knowledge. We're so privileged to live in this age with all its buffers. You have nothing to lose.Gayno wrote:Right, so today has really got me down.
I've been fine since Mrs G and I split up, we've met up a few times and things are fine between us as friends. However today it has suddenly hit me that I have absolute naff all to do this Christmas and no one to spend it with (apart from family but that's a given)
Which has lead me to the thought that after this length of time since the break up, we probably aren't getting back together, and so I need to do something/reinvent myself/whatever to get moving again. However I have no idea what. The thought did cross my mind today to pack up and move to Australia, but that's a tad on the extreme side!!
Someone please help me!!
