no they don't buddy I have an intermittent issue when it rains overnight I have to wait for the lense to dry to an extent or I get the warning light it only takes 2-3 mins with the lights on I really need to seal the rear light

Just wondering here...
Water in the rear lights can certainly cause tracking and electrical faults, but why would it link into bringing the handbrake/brake fluid level warning light on?
Have you checked the handbrake switch to see that's operating ok/not broken and making contact when something moves as you turn?
Might be worth unplugging that switch and seeing if the problem goes away?

This ^ then at least you can rule out the handbrake switch.wurlycorner wrote:Have you checked the handbrake switch to see that's operating ok/not broken and making contact when something moves as you turn?

If you are positive there is nothing wrong with your brakes and that it is just a faulty sensor you can earth it off so it never comes on again. Indigolemon and I have both done this for different reasons, his for LED bulbs, my one for flickering brake light:
In the LG Wiki - http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/wiki/in ... ning_light
My brake warning light no longer flickers.

if your rear bulb isn't working because of water in the light then the handbrake light will come on to tell you there is a problem with a rear bulb

Its taken a lot for me to do this but it has to be done.
I got my brother to look at my car as that light was doing my head in, he checked all the conectons and switches and even checked the rear light but still no luck getting the light to go out
He then checked the pads and discs but still no luck, he then call me a few names and askd me to join him by the engine, he said and I quote "show me how you checked your break fulid levels dumb ass" so I lent across and took the cap off the break fulid and said its full so cant be that
He then slowly shook his head and told me no damo thats the clutch fluid, the breaks behind it and is empty
:shock
: we toped up the break fulid and the light is out, alltho I think im going to leave any engone work to my brother

Never mind, we all have those moments, believe me...

If the brake reservoir really was completely empty, worth checking there are no leaks anywhere and you should bleed the system, because air might have got into it. If it was just low, then nothing to worry about.
