Balance shaft removal kit, remove powersteering and air con belts.
Lighter cam gears, larger throttlebody port matched to inlet manifold. Larger bore exhaust ( not too big) and get it remapped.
I could go on but that dhould do for starters.....good quality spark and good quality fuel. Set up ignition timkng properly.

It is due a service really, so far for my list I've got all fluids+filters, spark plugs, some KV85s up in this ho and it is due belt changes. Was thinking of trotting off to PAW for the belts and hopefully get the valve clearances checked over, bit of a journey from me but I think it'll be worth it.
So I can clean up the EGR thing, is it worth doing something with the VTEC solenoid gadget? I'm sure I've read of some of you guys changing or cleaning something. I like cleaning.

Not into removing the aircon and powersteering, this is just my daily and I want to keep everything pretty much as it is, but I am looking into breathing stuff anyway because IMO that seems like fairly easy power gained without having to get too involved.

Cleaning up the EGR valve or IACV FITV or Vtec Solenoid gasket won't do anything for gaining performance over standard obviously, but if they are sooty/clogged then they can hinder performance.Donald wrote:So I can clean up the EGR thing, is it worth doing something with the VTEC solenoid gadget? but seriously cleaning the egr,fitv valve and vtec solenoid are all good to do - all you need is a can of carb cleaner so cheap to do.

I've thought about this one before as my throttle pedal seems a little loose - like it moves a bit before any tension gets put on the cable. How do you mean adjust the slack to 5mm?
