LO :D

I'm running 215/45/17 also

I had tab problem even before i lowered it 30mm then it got worse , i didnt know the reason for the noise it created untill after i lowered it.
Cut away the tab as above then no probs 8-)

I think i had problems before it was lowered because of the offset of my alloys.

My ride is still on the harsh side but i think it may be due to having cheap tyres

Cheers ;)

215/45 x 17 is the correct size for the 5G.

Shouldn't rub - on the correct offset wheels and given the nature of the car, the ride is superb. That's on Eagle F1A2s, at any rate.

Motegi Brochure states 205/45/17 on the Motegis but there is no significant difference TBH between 225 or 215 rolling radius.

I think it was a misprunt, Nitin - the NSX brochure says "Togichi" as well...

My door sticker says 215.

The 215x45x17 ATR wheel sets on my 4WS 5g don't cause a problem.
(The car's about 35mm lowered, I think)

I'm on 215/45/17, lowered a bit more than 35mm but it only rubs when I have a passenger(s).

The options book says that there are two tyre sizes for the uk 5th gen:

205/50/r16 which has a rolling radius of 1843.94mm
205/45/r17 whch has a rolling radius of 1858.72mm

The one I and a good few others have went for is 215/45/r17 which has a rolling radius of 1885.86mm

If the 205/50/r16 is the standard tyre size then the 205/45/r17 will be the closest match.
