My ebay rad cost me £32 delivered and is spot on

K Seal is rough stuff, works well but I've only used it on lost cause cars - like the Rover 200 I bought for my wife @ £325 as her first car Last owners had boiled it dry. Shoved K seal in and it passed the next 3 MOT's It did eventually die though, and the coolant wasn't pretty by the end of it - I'd only shove it into an engine I wasn't planning on keeping.

your first post asked for a fix without buying a radiator? Then you say you wont use a radiator fix solution. Now your considering the worst option! A cheap ebay radiator your best going to your local auto factors. If you know a garage or mechanic ask them to order you one at trade price and get them to say they will send someone to pick it up, ie you with cash. You can buy a decent reputable one for just under £70.

Sorry. Didnt mean to put your idea down and jump ship to a new rad. I had read in the past horrors of people using internal sealant and I dont like this idea. I do like your second though as a 'cheap temp fix'. I dont really want to be spending any extra cash on the car at the mo unless I really have to - a fix that will see a while will do me

You couid try JB Weld pro-tem. But if you plan on keeping it, you need to talk to your local radiator factor.
