The big bit from inside the bumper/wing area, have you kept it? If so, are you willing to part with it? I'm not too keen on the reverberations without it , seems to have made something inside my dash rattle loose.

That's more like an AEM V1 than a V2 (the V1 extended down into being inside the drivers side wing, just like that)

The part down behind the bumper/in the inner wing area, is called the resonator chamber. The bit above that is called the air box/filter housing.
Removing the resonator box shouldn't lead to any noticeable rattle/vibration inside the cabin.
Which bits exactly have you kept/removed, Scott?

yes thats not a bad set up imo - proper long arm cold air intake
