id say you simply need to lower the car :)

get some lowering springs (30/40mm) on standard shocks (budget), or lowering springs on uprated shocks (mid range) or proper coilovers (£££) if you can find them and afford them.

15x7 Rota Slipstreams ET40 with 205/55/15 Bridgestone potenzas.

If your going for 15" wheels then ET40 looks good - the civic fan blades i ran previously had ET of 55 i think and they sat back in the wheel well and didnt look right.

Car feels good on 15"s.
16" are also good but can be expensive for the 205/50/16 profile tyres ;)
I got my potenzas for the 15" rotas for about £55 each - great tyres
