seat belt extenders

That spoils my theory. I thought grabbing an un-extended seat belt right handed would be more of a ball ache than left handed, as it means twisting your arm back

I have a driver's side in my Type-S. I just assumed they didn't have a passenger side as that's the side passengers get into the back most so it keeps the seatbelt from being in the way of them climbing through.

Whenever we go out in the lude as a family (not often), the wife sits in the back and my 4 year old gets the front seat.

Not when you have a 5G

There is much more room in the back of a 5th gen. Not loads, but enough.
