If it's Hamilton and palmer, that sounds like normal operation when i reconnect the battery, the alarm goes off. Usually turn it off with the fob, but there is an override near the glovebox, that takes the small key, which I'm guessing you don't have...?

I think what they have done is install a H&P alarm/immob over the existing immob. So you need to find a friendly sparky to dissconect the alarm/immob bit. I had a H&P alarm fitted to my 4g. Was hacked into the fuel pump feed under the ignition barrel area.

The whole things a proper mess near the fuse box, hacked wires and crappy splicing, no small key no, nothing but a red flashing light and lint filled pockets.

Its not a second immob, its a second Alarm linked to the immob.

weird thing as well was that he found a 7.5 and a 15 fuses both blown but neither does anything??

Weirder still was when he disconnected the battery and then reconnected the whole dash lit up and the CD started blasting AC/DC, which was rather amusing 'shook me all night long!!!!!!!!she shook me, when she took me!!!!!!!!!' air guitaring away, I thought for a split second she was alive, but alas not....................

No friendly sparks in this neighbour hood, its more hood than anything else, dunno how to put this without sounding a bit odd but I feel like I am on holiday when I walk out my front door.
