I've only had a quick search for blower ideas and not saved anything in my favourites or anything yet. I'll do a proper search when I come to sorting it... once the engine stuff is done. But basically it consists of a 3" (probably) duct running from an adapter secured to the inlet under the scuttle panel to a heater/cooler blower, and then running from that up to an adapter that will bolt to the underside of the dash where Merlin asked about a page or so ago.
From the very brief searching I have done, you can get cheapy, ugly, clumpy, white PVC plastic blowers for about £30 (You're more than likely going to have to add a heater element to that though to really benefit). Or you can get rather slick looking, compact, quality, lightweight, heater/cooler blowers for nearer the £100 mark (Which is probably what I'll be going for). Add a switch or variable switch (hot/cold) and you're away... in theory

(PUK) Valve Cover Resprayed & A Few Trick Bits
Post by NafemanNathan » Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:16 pm

I removed the controller unit...

And the vents...

Which left me with just the surround...

The surround I plan to cover with carbon fibre, and then fit my new funky little switches...

Switches for the manual fan, the internal fan, the hazards, and the fog light.
I've also got an FIA approved battery cutoff switch to fit...

Then I finally finished the mods to the valve cover I've had since Japfest

Mugen oil cap fitted...

Bling mountain bike crank bolt fitted as a plug for the PCV Valve. Thanks again Pete for the M20x1.0 tap

Cutouts for the vernier cam gears...

I've got a 1/4 NPT plug on the way to cap the induction pipe feed...

AN-8 bulkhead fitting which will connect topside of the baffle plate to the catch tank...

And of course after 6 months of hunting, Mercutio was able to provide me with the lower cam gear cover, of which I was able to cut the rest of the circles out...

And although the valve cover looks pretty matte in some lights...

... It's actually sparkly!
