Is it possible to do the above?
K&N don't list a CAI kit for a 4g VTEC, but do one for a 5g.
Being that a type-s intake can be retrofitted into a 4g, the intake layouts from 4g to 5g must be close on identical?
Anybody got any ideas?
We have an AEM v1 at the moment, but my brother is soon to sell his 5g & so his nearly new typhoon may be up for grabs!

there isnt any reason why it wont work if the type s fits anything will fit

As an update, yes it fits! I can see why these are hugely popular with the ATR guys.
The filter end of the intake pipe needs trimming back by 1" to allow the filter to sit comfortably behind the bumper, but no fitting issues aside from that.
Better engineered than the AEM v1 I removed, sounds sweeter & makes more power!!
