4g/5g wider track

As far as I can remeber they are the only 4 stud alloys for the 5th gen (Other than the 16" 4 stud Motegi option for UK 2.0L's). They came on the SI. The XI 5th gen had 4 stud but came from the factory with steel wheels.

Are you thinking about these 4th gen alloys?

This is true. However if you keep the inside of the rim in the same position as OEM (or around about) by running wider rims with a lower offset, this will achieve a wider track without putting an additional strain on all the suspension components. Like you said though, spacers is a bit ghetto and it's best to simply achieve this with the correct offset.

Control Arms, Lower arms, same difference. Just two different names for them depending on your religion.

ah yes those are the wheels Im thinking of!

LLL - On the rear is it due to the width of subframe or is it to do with the distance between the top mounts?
