4g/5g wider track

If so, would you get the same effect using the 2.0 5g parts and retain 4 stud? If so, what parts are needed for the swap?

I'm widening my broken suspension look st@nce and converting to 5-stud using 5th gen hubs etc, but it's the rims I'm using which are 5-bolt that will be widening the broken suspension look st@nce (due to their width and offset), not the 5th gen components, which I'm only converting to to run those rims

EDIT: Damn swear filter!

No it wasn't your thread id been reading, it was something i remembered reading about 5 or 6 years ago. I'll take a look at your thread though because i want to get a wider track without the use of spacers if i can so it will be interesting

Also Im sure you can get those saw blades or a similar wheel in a 4 stud fitment as my old 5th gen 2.2si had them

And yes, you can get those rims in 4 bolt, they're just not as common.

These? They are very similar to a version of the 4th gen blades (took me ages to find that picFrontBackSide2Side wrote:Also Im sure you can get those saw blades or a similar wheel in a 4 stud fitment as my old 5th gen 2.2si had them

Give it a try. What have you got to loose?

using wheel spacers to achieve the same result is a bit ghetto because you are putting more strain on wheel bearings and suspension parts without 'really' increasing the track from a performance point of view. imho
