Ideas For Frame/Stand For Club Banner
Post by Gayno » Tue Feb 05, 2013 9:05 pm
So I have the club banner at the moment, and it got me thinking.
Last year we tied it to a marquee and let it swing about in the wind, looked a little half-arsed really.
The bigger clubs seem to have a frame it attaches to, and then it stands neatly at the front of the club stand.
I don't mind getting the stuff required and putting it together, but what do people think is best?
I was thinking of using some PVC piping, like in your kitchen or bathroom, but the joiners would make it look a bit ugly on the corners maybe.
The banner measures 6 feet by 3 feet, so whatever is used will need to be collapsible to fit easily into the car and for storage.
Any other ideas?
