I DONT WANT BUDGETS!!
Post by Rocky » Mon Feb 06, 2012 5:30 pm
Hi Guys,
Yesterday my car was in for it's MOT and failed on a few things, one being the front tyres.
When I went to pick up the car I had the guy price me up a pair. £80 for some budget Arrowspeed thingys.
I told him I didn't want budgets on it, then he came out with this corker....
"You see there's no point putting anything more expensive on a car of that age, you might aswell go for the cheapest. The only person I've had complain about them was when we fitted them to a RX8, but then THAT has around 190bhp.
You might also want to consider if it's worth replacing the springs on an old Honda, it might be best just to get shot."
I think my GF noticed the twitch in my eye and nudged me in the side before I could say anything.

What an arse. Clearly he knows nothing about the car. Time for a new garage man!
PS - RX8's are for gays and queers and stuff.
