Also found today that there is a cast iron lump on top the rear most rubber engine mount that attaches to the chassis, thats got to weigh between 0.75 and 1kg. Its held on with one bolt and expect it will be easy to remove. There is also a smaller one on top the drive side gearbox rubber mount.

Got some sexy New Uniroyal Rainsports 2 XL .. 215/45/17 tyres on..

Need new wheels nuts now.. as the Rays are starting to look a bit old! :oops:

Ps If anyone wants to know the weight of the tyres... its about 8KG ;) :lol:

Looks great. Slipstreams and Torques are 2 timeless designs and suit the Lude to a T.

Hmm im on the bench with those.

Loved the Slips on it, the size of them gave it the balls out beast look, made it look kinda purpose built.

Not sure if i like the 17s with the ride height, lack of spoiler, etc. I think the 5G needs to be "busy" to pull off big wheels.
