using your eyes and your hands in coordination is the best way to avoid kerbing imho

the only time i have ever rashed a rim is from cutting the apex a little tight and catching the kerb

we have narrow roads in monmouth.. and people like to force there way through a lot.. so i risk kerbing alot

I failed my first driving test in the test centre car park after just doing the whole out on the road bit for 40 minutes because some knobend in the car park wasn't moving so I squeezed over and the examiner happened to hear the ever so quiet sound of rubber brushing kerb.

Yeah I wasn't happy.

Ii failed my first for doing a 3 point turn in the road when people was walking past on a path thats got a foot high kerb.. and about 10 foot back from the road!! my excuse was i had no driving instructor lessons so guessed my test!

Ok i'm thinking Uniroyal Rainsport 2.... I can get 4 for £301 delivered........ but whats all these numbers at the end of them??

FR LT and XL FR LT?? they're all the same size but does the XL mean harder sideways? or?

XL is extra load which is a harder side wall.

There are also the 3 T's; temperature, tread wear & traction ratings. Temp is graded A to C with A as the best, traction is AA to C with AA as the best and treadwear goes from 100 to 700 with 100 being super soft racing slicks and 700 being forklift tyres. The best I've seen an AA grip tyre is 320 tread wear, avons I had before were 240 and lasted 6 months with the 320's lasting about a year with my roads & driving.

Get the xl. They are quite soft tyres. And a harder sidwall is better. Stiff the better.
