Re: W1ggz BB4 broke down but new gearstick and steering whee

Post by W1ggz » Wed Jan 02, 2013 10:43 pm

Many thanks for all the kind messages,
its been nearly 3 week since my car broke down and jake arrived, in this time the car has just been sat at work,
today was my first day back in so as it was a bit quite this morning i took the time to phone the suppliers for the parts for repair. I can get most of it from a euro car parts £130 for the timing belt tensioner,, balancer belt and water pump. and about £30 for the 2 balance shaft seals and retainers from honda so not too bad, thats all ordered and will be here in next few days.
I also had time to fit my skunk 2 gear knob and momo stearing wheel

So now ive just got to wait untill the 19th of January to get my car over to my mates in clevedon and get the seals done.

Drawing closer to the 19th so thought it was time for a small update
new belt kit has arrived include tensioner and balancer belt, new water pump just awaiting the balance shaft seals and retainer clips

As soon as this is all done and shes back on the road it will be time to get saving for this years plans. first thing to be getting priced is the fittment of these

My goal is to have these fitted by june/july hopefully before then.
My list for this year is quite a bit but i think do able
* S2000 seats and rear retrimmed in matching leather
* leather door inserts/ arm rest/ gear gaitor and handbrake gaitor
* get the fog lights wired up. only 1 plug fits the loom but no button in dash for them anyway
* purchase poly bush kit and all necessary parts to powder coat and fit bushes prior to going on the car
* maybe coilovers
