TBH it would have to wait until I move house at the soonest which is going to put it in March / April as got nowhere to break it ATM.

I do like Ratty's type S idea, but again I just don't know what to do

Looking at the cars I picked out, basically I want more power.

if i walked outside and got into an aventador after a couple of weeks i would sit there and think to myself i wonder how i can get more out of this

no matter what you buy you will never have enough i bet the lads on the celica forum arent sat there saying oh no 279 is enough for me

he is right a few people are up at 550 and just keep wanting more power

can i just give you some input mate

firstly, dont even look at rx8's just see how many are being broken or for sale as spares or repair - enough said.

secondly, when i was 20 i got my first lude, loved it! some guy offered me an impreza 555 for it and obviously i ripped his arm off. the scooby was 310bhp with paperwork and an absolute monster but every time i drove it it just wasnt right and i wanted my lude back.

swapped the scooby for an fd3s rx7 type r, every time i went to local car meets and saw the only prelude there i absolutely pined for it! even though i had one of the best cars to ever leave jap land i wanted my prelude back!

2 preludes on and this one is reaching 4g perfection (in my eyes atleast) and i have had thoughts of parting with it but your words echo'd my exact thoughts about the money. but seriously, what the hell else would you get for less than 5k that would be half as rare on the roads and make you feel as good about yourself when you drive it??? let alone make you smile like a psycho when you batter something newer and a damn sight more expensive?! i bet sometimes when your walking away from it in a carpark you look back and see all the time/effort and money you put into it and feel alot of pride.

serious, man up, find some cash and get your arches sorted then you can get onto the power side of things and love it again

Ratty's idea is the best. Get that white Type-S and put coilovers on that from your current prelude.
