Got a car that isn't a Lude? There's no condemnation here. Tell us about it!

I can't believe the ride could be any more bouncy than stock, mine is unbelievable on the local roads - it's the springiest car I've ever ridden in

Although, I was on the M25 yesterday and the soft suspension means it's an awesome barge for cruising along in, comfy as anything :) Holds its own against much newer cars too 8-)

Trust me, it can be pretty rough on cut springs. I have 2 coils cut out the rear and a coilovers kit on the front, and it can be a bit harsh on bumpy roads. I wouldn't want to try having cut springs that low!!

H&R springs is where it's at mate ;-) We can't be having any of that chopped spring malarky :P

I'm dropped 40mm on H&Rs with new dampeners and the ride is great! She handles amazingly, comparible with the lude IMO. There's practically no body roll in the corners, apart from my own fat  And that's all knowing the ARBs are practically non existant on these cars

Just watch out for potholes as usual, and if you're still running front mudflaps, the 2 speed humps on the way out from the Halfords business estate in Yeovil ;-)

I'll definitely be going with H&R's mate, can't wait to get some drop going on her 8-) haha yeah I know what you mean about the lack of anti roll action. I'm used to it from my Golf though, it's part of living with a car of that era  to be fair they both handle well if you brave going through the corner pinned to the door - I just tip my head as I corner  as for pothole avoidance, my Prelude is on low profiles, I am now obsessive about road surfaces

Back to general maintenance of the new car at any rate. So after my car wouldn't start at lunch time I found that my battery terminal had come off as my battery was loose. In light of this, I fitted a larger battery this eve so should stop things rolling around in there :) looks a bit more normal now as well

The mighty gold top :D

I have a nicely charged spare battery now too, ideal for jumping cars - something I have to do far too often now I don't use half of them :(

Also, I realise most of my pictures have probably just gone dead - the result of me finally deciding to organise my Photobucket

I bet you were relieved to discover it was only a loose battery terminal preventing it from starting :)

Too right I was! I was literally parked outside the front doors at work, they'd have ripped it out of me something chronic if I was sat out there in a broken down Honda

Could be worse though... I didn't secure the battery in my Golf a while back, and whilst driving enthusiastically it decided to do a bungee through the engine bay  at least the engine in the Accord fills the whole bay, no chance of the battery wandering too far
