:(

Sorry to hear this matey.
If that's the only option you've come across so far, it's probably just worth getting it then opening them up to see if there's any obvious difference, check the pin out's are the same and if so, go for it.

I had the same problem when the rear demister relay died on my 4th gen JDM - the only ones I could find second hand were a different relay (same base) so I got one, tested the pin out and that was all the same, plugged it in and all was good.

Hope you get some joy with it.

cheers iain, just cant wait the guy is in kent , im working thurs and fri, he will post it thursday. hope i get it by monday. if not its going to be wednesday 2nd. thats another week without my lude. tbh i am gutted to be driving a 4th about as its soooooo small inside compared to my 3rd. just had to visit the mother in law, so me the wife my 2 growing kids and the labarador in the 4th was not fun. seet so far forwards, chest pressed up against the steering wheel whilst driving is no fun. where as the 3rd gen i can drive in my normal position and the kids and dog in the back are driven in comfort.

fantastic, my car is back on the road. the relay, although it had a different number works. so i took it for a blat up the road. discs made a bit of a grating noise for a while though.

now to continue with my plans for her in 2013
