Re-MOT'd my car today... Turns out it's a massive jobby heap
Failed on:
N/S headlight beam obviously incorrect. The cluster seems to be broken and the bulb is free to move around.
O/S/F upper ball joint - I was aware of this one and had the part to replace it at work, didn't bother getting it done though for obvious reasons
O/S/R brake binding. Can barely turn the rear wheel by hand when the car is in the air. The pad on this wheel is completely worn too.
Advisories:
Brake pads, as above
N/S brake disc has pitting and scoring on it.
Power steering cooler corroded.
Oil leak
It was also pointed out my rad is fubar, my exhaust downpipe has been shittily repaired at some point, and a load of other bum droppings for me to sort.
I'm really drokked off with this car right now, I'd scrap it if it weren't for the fact I love driving it

I drove 60 miles in the car today and it's so disheartening to get behind the wheel of a car I enjoy driving so much, yet have so much to sort to be able to enjoy it again. Probably be cheaper/easier to sell this one cheap and buy another.
On the plus side I got my Accord back today, along with it's MOT pass. At least I can get my Honda fix still, but mega pissed at my Prelude. I mean ffs my 200K mile Mk2 Golf sailed through it's last MOT, and it's been used and abused by so many owners and not serviced for years unti lI got hold of it.
