No update since May?!?!
Nothing much has changed, car has been sat up since September, can't wait for the start of March to drive it again!
Anyway, have just ordered a crate load of Bilt Hamber products to protect the arches.
Also have a set of BC Racing coilovers sat in the kitchen ready to go on!

Hope so!
Picked them up second hand so will give them a clean up and stick them on.
The setup when they came off the car was hardest damping, and a drop of 40mm so the car should sit just about right methinks. Didn't come with the little spanners though so if I want to change the height or rebound I'll need to get some.

Started the old girl this afternoon!!
3 months since I last did it, took 15 mins connected up to my gf's Startlet to get it going, think it proves once and for all my battery is fubar'd!!
But once it caught, boy did it scream with that H22 burble we all love!
Ran it for 15 mins to get it up to full temp before shutting it down, tried to start and nothing, so yes, battery is dead!!

Cheers bud, from what I see they're fairly universal. No harm in trying!!
Will just get them fitted to the car first and go from there.

Headlight Repair, Interior Removal, Bumper Removal
Post by Gayno » Tue Feb 07, 2012 7:12 pm
So the prep for this year has begun, last weekend I got the rear bumper off, and stripped out the interior.
The inside of the rear arches were then given a good coating of Bilt Hamber S50.
I have to remove the whole of the interior carpet as it was absolutely soaked through. I don't think there's a leak, and that it was due to the condensation inside the car for 3 months! Also wiped clean the mould that had started to grow on pretty much everything!! The carpet is now up at Confused's house in his car port drying out.
Today Confused popped over and helped me remove the front bumper and headlights. If anyone remembers, my Prelude was hit on the front in June, and the headlight got cracked. I sourced a replacement and today we set about moving over the projector lense and LED indicators into the new one.
That's as far as we got, so here are some pictures to illustrate the mess we made! And also how the car is sitting, looking rather sorry for itself
