Hi Jon. I'm quite new here too, having come over when I eventually noticed the tumbleweed at PUK.
Bittie further north than you, and have fortunately managed to avoid any rust at all on my car so far - I do check the back arches every couple of weks, though, and deploy the old spray grease inside every 6 months for good measure.
Don't see many 4Gs up here, though one's appeared somewhere between Fraserburgh and Peterhead recently, UK 2.3 as far as I can make out. I see more 4Gs in the scrappy than on the road.

Thanks all for warm welcome, never had her on the road as yet
Got it for scap value as incepted her going to the scrap yard, runs well, very clean inside, pant work needs a bit of tlc, the back arches ( nothing new with these cars i am led to beleve) rear disc's and pads. She has been in storage for about a year now but started and moved often, just looking a qoutes to get her down to us now (not being mot) and go from there.
